Louisiana became the 31st state in the nation to enact the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) on May 31, 2018 when Governor John Bel Edwards signed Senate Bill 202 into law.
Prior to completing your licensure renewal application(s), every Louisiana RN and APRN licensee will need to create a user account and complete the email validation process within LSBN's new NURSE PORTAL. Below is some information you will need to know in order to access the new Nurse Portal and complete your online renewal. Board Staff is available to assist you every step of the way!
The LSBN Nurse Portal will be down tomorrow October 12, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM for scheduled maintenance. The LSBN Nurse Portal will be down Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM for scheduled maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The Culture of Health Summit: Building Partnerships to Transform Health presented by the Louisiana Action Coalition will be held on April 27th from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM at the Chateau Golf & Country Club in Kenner, LA. The Summit will highlight key accomplishments and ongoing activities of the Louisiana Action Coalition, recognize vital partnerships, offer a critical keynote address on the importance of creating a Culture of Health as it relates to leadership, diversity, inclusion, and health equity, and inspire attendees with examples of collaborative projects that are building a culture of health in Louisiana.
