The Board office will be closed from 2:00pm to 5:00pm on Wednesday, November 25, 2009, for an Agency Staff Meeting.

The Board office will be closed on Thurday, November 26, 2009, for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Board office will be closed on Friday, November 27, 2009, for Acadian Day.

Online Renewals Now Available

Online licensure renewals for RNs and APRNs are available from now to January 31st, 2010 at 11:59pm. Renewals received after December 31st, 2009 will be charged a late fee.

Department of Health and Hospitals Requests H1N1 Vaccination Volunteers

The Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals has put out a call for volunteer vaccinators to prevent the spread of H1N1 influenza in the Fall and Winter of 2009-2010. APRN Prescriptive Authority Alert - Free or Low-Cost H1N1 Antiviral Medications Available to Uninsured/Underinsured Patients

The Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals has issued instructions for prescribing authorities on prescribing antivirial medications to the uninsured and underinsured at a reduced cost or no cost. This initiative is not restricted only to Louisianans. Please read this document if you have prescriptive authority.
